About Us!
DOGS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN!
Our Temperment Test
Because Woods Creek Kennels is a pack environment, every dog must pass a temperament test. They cannot be aggressive toward people or other dogs. They also cannot be food or toy possessive. If your dog is either of these, this would not be the proper environment for them.
If necessary they may be tested for attitude and human handling. This may include all 4 paws being picked up, petting all over your dog's body, a big restraint hug, and teeth and ear check. This is to see how comfortable your dog is with this kind of touch both physically and emotionally.
Afterward, they get to have the playground to themselves until they're comfortable and then we introduce one dog at a time to see how they react and ensure every-doggy's comfort level.
Dog screening takes place when your dog arrives for boarding or daycare.

Woods Creek Kennels is a privately owned and operated
business offering 12 overnight kennels. This allows us to give
One-on-One quality care to your dog.
In addition to holding the required state license, and Snohomish
County's "Kennel License", we are also fully insured by KENNEL
PRO.
The owner is also certified as a Veterinary Assistant and holds
both First Aid and CPR certifications.
Facility Hours
Because this is also our home, we are "by appointment only"
between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday thru Sunday.
However, early drop-offs can be arranged if needed.
Tours are also "by appointment only" during normal business
hours - just give us a call and we will make every effort to
accommodate your schedule.
We encourage you to bring your dog with you for a tour as
we feel this helps eliminate possible anxiety the next time they
come for boarding and/or daycare. Please have your dog on a
LEASH when you arrive at the Kennel due to our pet chicken
who is also very friendly.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
All dogs over 6 months of age must be SPAYED or
NEUTERED.
Unfortunately due to insurance restrictions, WE CANNOT
ACCEPT CERTAIN BREEDS. These breeds include but are
not limited to: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier,
American Pit Bull Terrier, Chows, Staffordshire Bull
Terrier, Rottweiler, and Malamutes.
What to Bring
Food:
We supply various NUTRO Brands or you can bring your own
food. However, to alleviate potential tummy problems from a
change in diet for short stays, we suggest you bring their food.
Please bring at least two extra days of food in case a need
arises to extend your pup's stay. All unused food will be
returned upon check-out!
Favorite Bedding and their Favorite Toy:
Again optional - We provide all campers with a "Kuranda"
elevated dog bed and a "Snoozy" for their comfort. Your
camper might also enjoy their favorite blanket, toy or a worn
item of your clothing as well. If the dog bed is destroyed or
chewed, owner will be charged the replacement fee at
check-out.
Proof of Vaccinations:
All dogs must be current on their vaccinations including: DHPP
(distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus), Rabies,
Bordatella (every 6 months), and a negative fecal test
within the last 6 months (the fecal test doesn't necessarily
need an appt at your vet and most results are given same day).
We also require that your dog be on some sort of flea
prevention medicine.
ALL dogs must be in good health - this ensures the safety
of your dog!
Registration Form:
You will find the link to Download on our RESERVATIONS
page. Bring it with you when your pup comes to board along with
their proof of vaccines listed above.
Please be sure and fill out the highlighted "drop off date
and time" as well as "pick up date and time" on the form.
Medications:
Bagged and labeled with your dogs name. We will follow all label
directions if in question..No extra charge!
PLEASE NOTE: Any destruction to beds, kennels, pet doors
or facility by your pet will be charged back to the owner at
replacement fee cost upon checkout.
